EVERGREEN
EVERGREENS.
A SYMBOL OF HOPE IN A CHAOTIC WORLD
Peacock pride was inspired by art-deco buildings on Jalan Tuanku Abudul Rhaman (then called Batu Road). Once the only shopping street in Kuala Lumpur. Growing up as a teenager this is where we would go to the cinema.
Willow wishes was inspired by the willow plates. Crockery that was produced in China for European Export in the 1800’s.
Gingko is a symbol that was given to nala, the founders daughter, when she was born. The ginkgo has been a symbol of longevity (the tree can live for a thousand years) and of a more profound endurance (four ginkgos survived the blast at Hiroshima and are still growing today).
The evergreens were the first patterns designed when nala was founded in 2008.
