BLOOM STATE OF MINE  is inspired by the amazing flowers we came across on our walks. Looking up and looking down, enjoying our outdoor discoveries is something we all got accustomed to during the lockdown.

The flora and fauna that surrounds us is so vast that to memorise each and every one of them is a task that will take a lifetime. However we  have to start somewhere. Selangor is the second in the series of the Merdeka Collection. We started with the rare flowers on Penang hill and are now continuing with the flowers that decorate our beautiful capital, Kuala Lumpur.

The stunning purple Jacaranda tree with its papery flowers. The iconic delicatae crepe ginger flower and a speciecies indigenous ot malaysia, the hoya plant.
